Ghost Listing Image Pipeline
Automated hero images for marketplace listings
Sourced product images still needed a consistent hero treatment before a listing could go live. I built an automation that applies the template, framing, and shadows, so marketplace photos look polished without a photoshoot.
The Problem
Offshore contractors were spending too much time downloading selected images, dropping them into the template, exporting again, then uploading everything back into the marketplace. With the volume of listings moving through the team, keeping final hero images consistent across all items was hard to maintain.
How It Works
I built an automated flow that takes selected product images, applies my hero-image template, and pushes the finished assets back into Ghost's listing database. PhotoRoom does the visual adjustments. Airtable stores the listing IDs and gives the team a one-click trigger. n8n runs the workflow, so nobody repeats the production steps by hand.
Who It Helped
This helped the listing team and offshore contractors keep marketplace images consistent without repeating the same template work for every item.
