About Gabriel Murray

About

I work best where creativity and systems meet.

I live in LA with my cat Toast. I've always been good with computers - I figure things out fast. I spent years in fashion, researching and styling rare designer items for celebrity and editorial work. At Ghost I run technical operations and started the automation team. Outside work I play basketball and collect fashion and furniture.

I founded the Automation department and set the AI and automation strategy. Two direct reports, twelve BPO contractors. Built the systems and harnesses the team uses, tracking us against 293K+ SKUs a day.

    • Itemization pipeline: 293K+ SKUs a day into Snowflake
    • Proposals for Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's: $1M+ deals
    • Boo, my 4-agent extraction harness, replaced a $132K/yr vendor

    Senior Product Operations Associate, Ghost

Owned how we tracked the inventory sellers gave us: linesheets, each holding hundreds of SKUs. Built and rebuilt that system as brand partners and account managers needed it to change, from Sheets to Asana to Airtable, Series A through C. Worked with EPD along the way: testing admin changes, reporting bugs, translating ops feedback into product fixes.

    • Built a concurrent Python scraper over a 500M+ SKU catalog
    • Packing list reconciliation: 4 hours to 5 minutes via TableFlow
    • Python image sourcing on SERPapi: days to minutes

    Merchandising Assistant to Associate, Ghost

Ran the site merchandising calendar and bi-weekly collection rollouts across 600+ active listings. Became the go-to for getting images formatted into Excel files account managers could send to buyers, then wrote Python scrapers as item and seller volume outgrew doing it by hand.

    • Bi-weekly rollouts on 600+ active listings
    • Weekly buyer conversion +3.5% in four months
